Elsie C. Gibiser Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elsie C. Gibiser, 85, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday, December 18th in her residence with her loving husband Arthur Hartwell by her side. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Katherine Gibiser. Elsie had a long career at the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation, working in various departments, finishing as a payroll supervisor. She was a former member of the Coplay Saengerbund, and traveled with their bowling team, she was also a social member of the Knight’s of Columbus of Allentown. She loved to travel and especially enjoyed dogs and animals in general. Surviving in addition to her husband Arthur is a Brother Fred Gibiser of Emmaus, a Niece Sheri Estella and Husband Michael and a Nephew Chad Gibiser. She was pre-deceased by her first husband Alfred Deutsch. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at the Trexler Funeral Home 1625 Highland St., Allentown PA with the Rev. Lori Esslinger Officiating. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animals in Distress 5075 Limeport Pike Coopersburg PA 18036.
