Russel N. Druckenmiller, 88, of Allentown, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at home. He was the husband of the late Josephine (David) Druckenmiller. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Harwick) Druckenmiller. Before retiring in the 1990’s, he worked for many years in the composing room of the Morning Call. Russ was an avid reader, played all sports including for the Allentown Patriots Old Timers Softball Team and enjoyed watching the Phillies and his Eagles team recently win the Super Bowl. He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the Howard L. Peter Post #576, Allentown. He was also a member of the Mercantile Club in Emmaus.

Survivors, son Richard and his wife Audrey of Zionsville; daughters Donna, wife of the late Mitchell Hunter of Effort, Ginny Stilo and her partner Brenda Fritzinger of Allentown; 3 granddaughters Heather, Jamie and Lena; great grandchildren Dakotah, Cayden, Avery, Shane, Addisyn, and Jane. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Calling hour will be held 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with Services 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 27 at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 W. Highland St., Allentown. Burial with military honors to follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
