Donald M. Stofflet, 88, of Pittstown, NJ passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at home. He was the husband of Jean A. (Christine) Stofflet. They were married for 66 years in March. Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Mahlon J. and Estella B. (Merkle) Stofflet. He was a manager for IMC formerly Trojan Powder Company before retiring. He was a member of St. John’s UCC, Mickleys. Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a well-known softball pitcher in the Allentown area and went on to become the pitching coach for the Whitehall High School Girls Softball Team for 25 years. Donald also owned the former Progress Beer Distributorship.

Survivors: wife; sister Jean wife of William Shoemaker. He was predeceased by a son Donald; five brothers and six sisters.

Services: 1:30 pm, Friday, December 22, 2017, Trexler Funeral Home 1625 W. Highland St, Allentown. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm.
