Randolph C. L. Swavely, Jr., 88, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Devon House Senior Living; his home for the past 12 years. He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Wagner) Swavely; they shared 51 years of marriage. Randy was born in Allentown, a son of the late Randolph C. L. Sr. and Viola E. (Klaugh) Swavely. He was a lineman and later a multi-crew foreman for PPL for over 44 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of Calvary Moravian Church having served as a trustee, and choir member for over 45 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of New Temple Lodge No. 720 F. & A. M.

Survivors: son, Robert and his wife Marianne, of Allentown; daughter Diane, wife of Wayne Wolf, of Allentown; grandchildren, Michelle, Kiel, Ethan and Jared. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard.

Services: Calling hours will begin at 12:30 pm with services to follow at 1:30 pm on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Calvary Moravian Church, 948 N. 21st ST., Allentown 18104. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, a donation in Randy’s memory may be made to Calvary Moravian Church.
